Irene Tondelli works in the fields of communication, photography and curatorship.She graduated in Photography from Libera Accademia di Belle Arti in Brescia, then specialised in art direction at Accademia di Comunicazione in Milan and in contemporary image curatorship at FMAV Fondazione Modena Arti Visive. Her research, initially focused on documentary and landscape photography, has expanded to embrace digital art and new media. She is co-creator of Fanzastic, an itinerant event dedicated to photographic self-publishing and independent publishing and founder of Curatorial Maps, a project that engages emerging international female curators and photographers. Her work is featured in national and international catalogues, photography websites and magazines. She is mentioned by Gup Magazine and Fresh Eyes in the list of the 100 best emerging photographers in Europe.
